Board of Trustees: Pool Manager 2

  • Coordinate opening of pool for the season with pool service contractor first week of April to ensure timely opening of pool in May.

  • Order pool chemicals for the season from the pool service contractor.

  • Coordinate water access for the pool at the beginning of May.

  • Obtain additional minutes for the lifeguard's cell phone one week prior to the opening of the pool.

  • Coordinate with Lifeguard Manager scheduling of lifeguards to set up chairs, other equipment, and assist Pool Manager with minor maintenance at the pool before season opening.

  • Notify Lifeguard Manager ASAP so lifeguards can be scheduled when pool parties are scheduled.

  • Purchase testing chemicals, toilet paper, paper towels, first aid kit supplies, and other needed pool supplies as necessary.

  • Act as a backup for Pool Manager I – Lifeguards.

  • Assist in training of lifeguards to ensure pool chemical testing is completed consistently and accurately. Regularly observe and check in with lifeguards at least weekly to make sure the pool is being operated properly.

  • Responsive and timely in communication with lifeguards, homeowners, Pool Manager I, board members, etc.

  • Responsible for seasonal closing of pool in September.

  • Jointly, with Pool Manager I, maintains/updates all pool-related material and forms available through the website with major policy changes approved by the board in advance of posting.

  • Assist with oversight of grounds maintenance and watering as needed.
